Get our solutions before you sign
Before we sign a new client, we insist on doing a full, 100% free audit of their practice and their billing.
The outcome of the audit is our 60-day roadmap for working together, backed by our Atlas guarantee: if your revenue isn't 5% higher in 60 days, you get a full refund.
If, after doing an audit, we don't see a way to increase your billing by at least 5%, we'll tell you and send our congratulations to your billing team.

What we look for
Visit Coding
- Do we have the right ICD-10 and CPT codes?
- Are we billing every procedure we do?
From a sample audit
reviewed visits had a procedure in the note that never made it onto the claim.
Denial Rate
- How often are claims being denied?
- Why, and at which insurers?
- Which denials could have been prevented at scheduling or check‑in?
Credentialing
- Are you contracted with the best payers in your area?
- Are there denials related to contracting status?
- Is every provider enrolled with every payer they see patients for?
Fee Schedules
- How do your rates compare to similar doctors in your area?
- Are there opportunities to negotiate higher rates?
- Are any of your charges set below what payers would pay?
Aging A/R
- Are there old denials we could fix and reverse?
- Has your clinic been reliably working the aged A/R?
From a sample audit
in denials older than 90 days that could still be corrected and resubmitted.
Underpayments
- Are your insurance companies always paying you what you are owed?
- Are payers applying the right rates and modifiers to each claim?
- Are short payments being caught and appealed?
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the audit free? +
Yes. It's totally free.
How much of my time does it take? +
We know you're busy, and can usually do this with under 60 minutes of your time: 15 minutes to meet, 15 minutes to set up access on the back end, and 30 minutes for the final presentation.
Does my current biller need to be involved? +
No. The read-only login comes from your practice management system or clearinghouse, which your practice owns. Read-only access cannot change, submit, or delete anything. Whether you tell your biller is up to you.
Is my data protected? +
Yes. The Business Associate Agreement puts us under the same HIPAA obligations as your own staff, and we only view data through a read-only login. If we don't end up working together, we wipe your data from our systems after we deliver the report.
Which systems do you work with? +
All major EHR, practice management, and clearinghouse systems, including athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Epic, NextGen, Kareo / Tebra, AdvancedMD, and ModMed.
We checked each visit's clinical note against what went out on the claim.
